Adults

"All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness."

2 Timothy 3:16

Adult Ministries equip people to pursue spiritual growth and a closer walk with God.

Small Groups

Get Connected. Go Deeper.

Study Groups and Life Groups are important to us at SCPC.  These groups allow us to :
  • Develop close relationships and community.
  • Provide a comfortable introduction for nonbelievers to the Christian faith.
  • An ideal way to care for the needs of people within the church.
  • Provide a way for Christians to live out their faith.
  • Participate in focused prayer for one another.
  • Provide a comfortable atmosphere for openness.
  • Encourage better learning.
  • Provide a source of encouragement and accountability.

Study groups are Bible study focused and meet on a regular schedule.  Life groups are activity focused (boating, walking, pickleball, etc.) and may not have a regular meeting schedule.

men's Ministry

We have a robust and thriving Men’s Ministry here at Swift Creek Presbyterian with many ways for you to get involved.
Let’s face it, it’s hard to find a wingman or form a band of brothers in the foyer on Sunday mornings.
That’s why we have events going on weekly and monthly to help us become better men.

Weekly
Monday  7 pm Men’s Alliance - Alpha Unit
Epic outdoor workout followed by a real-world devotion around a fire. Check out the Men’s Alliance website here for all the info.

Wednesday 6 pm Cross Trainers
Consists of exercise in various forms (strengthening, balance, walk/run, lighter cardio) and an indepth time in God's Word.
This is a time to get moving while developing deeper relationships with God and guys!

Every Other Thursday 7 pm Bible study
For men looking to grow deeper in their knowledge of the Word of God.

Monthly
From September through May, the first Saturday of every month we host the best breakfast you will eat all month! Loosen your belt and come fill up on bacon, eggs, biscuits, and coffee! This is a great way to meet men that go to a different service time at SCPC.

Women's Ministry

Check under Events for exact dates - Her Connection, a night of fun and fellowship.  Sometimes we have a trivia night, or a book review/discussion, or special speaker - you never know - but we always have fun and enjoy each other's company.
Wednesday 7pm - Bible Study and discussion
Thursday 10:30 am  – Bible Study and discussion

moving on after moving in

This class provides women with the help and encouragement they need to make a smoother transition into their new surroundings and feel “at home” quicker.  Join us as we make friends and learn about the new community we call “home.” We discuss the book, After the Boxes are Unpacked, which guides us through the transition from our old familiar lifestyle to a new, promising way of life.
Classes being in January and September.

young at heart

We have the best of all worlds. The experience of years and the time to have fun with it. Our Young at Heart group is filled with people who have the “vitality of youth“.  A man once said:  “just because there’s snow on the roof, don’t think the fire has gone out in the furnace.”  Our zeal for life is contagious the moment you join us, because you’ll see the joy we have in coming together. We offer periodic programs including potlucks, dining out, speakers, etc.  Check out our activities on the church calendar. Contact us for more information at info@swiftcreekpresbyterian.org.

Sunday Discipleship Hour

Sunday 10 am (September - May)

Join us for a time of building community and growing in our Biblical understanding. You may join in at any time. We begin by sharing coffee, conversation and prayer followed by the lesson we are studying.
