Back. Together. Growing. Together.
Welcome
Swift Creek Presbyterian Church is a place where people come to meet Jesus, engage in life-giving community, and everyone is welcome. We believe in creating a space where people can have authentic encounters with Christ, discover their gifts and use them for God's glory.

let's connect
sunday worship
We encourage you to carry your personal Bible with at all times for guidance and wisdom, including to church. Whether you use hardcopy or digital, bring the Bible you use (or hope to use) every day of the week to worship.
9 am Contemporary Worship
Worship is led by our praise team and band, with drums, guitars, and keys.
We like it a little bit loud.
11 am Contemporary Worship
Worship is led by our choir with an anthem and congregational singing.
We like things a bit more structured.
Both services are typically an hour long, with music, prayer, and a time for learning God's Word.
what should i wear?
We have a casual environment and it is reflected in our worship services. There is no official or unofficial dress code - feel free to come as you are. If you are comfortable wearing a suit and tie or a dress, you will not stand out in the crowd. If you worship the Lord best in jeans, you will not be alone.
What is important in worship is experiencing God's presence, not the clothes you wear.
what will the sermon be like?
Each week there is a time of looking at what the Bible has to say. Pastor David speaks to the church about what the Lord has laid on his heart, something he believes will help us with our faith in God. People are encouraged to take notes and follow along in their personal Bibles. If you happened to leave yours at home, you are welcome to use one of the Bibles kept in the sanctuary.
what will the music sound like?
Each week, we have the opportunity to worship God through our music. Our desire is the same as that of the Psalmists who desire to "Sing the praises of the LORD, you his faithful people; praise His holy name." Our praise team and choir strive to lead each person in the church to a place of humble worship.
At 9 am service, you may see people clapping their hands to the beat, as a form of praise. Other times, you might see people raising their hands during worship - this is not required by anyone, but some people choose to lift their hands as a posture of gratitude and humility.
At 11 am service, you may hear our bell choir, special instrumental music or enjoy a liturgical dance interpretation.
We are worshipping the Lord with our talents and gifts, given to us from Him.
where do my kids go?
We know that kids are important to God, so they are important to us. Kindergarten - 5th graders are invited to participate in praise and worship in the sanctuary and then encouraged to join us downstairs for Kids' Worship.
Our kids' ministry is not simple babysitting. We care that our ministry is fun, biblical, safe and facilitates godly relationships. We are also committed to sharing the Word of God straight out of the Bible on a kid's level, at a kid's pace. We strive to make this time meaningful and conducive to spiritual and emotional growth.
Care is provided for infants - preschool.
Come check out our nursery and preschool rooms, located downstairs.
Your child's safety is important to us! Every member of Kids' at the Creek leadership team has been background checked and trained before serving in our classrooms.
